Best Vacations in Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam

Went to Phu Quoc Island in Vietnam for a few days and stayed at Mercury Phu Quoc Island Villa Resort. This resort is located in Duong To, about 5 minutes drive from Phu Quoc International Airport, which is very convenient💁‍♂️. Nearby are Tranquility Spa, Long Beach Pearl Sales Showcase and Searama Dive Center for easy access to transportation and entertainment. The location of the entire resort is quite good, close to the beach, and you can play in the water🌊 within a few steps. The hotel’s architecture is tropical and the gardens are well-kept. The front desk is open 24 hours and the staff is warm and friendly, but the pick-up service had some hiccups when I just checked in. The room is reasonably laid out, particularly spacious, with complete facilities, including air conditioning, safe and wardrobe, etc. The room makes people feel very comfortable 🌴. The villa I stayed in was very spacious and clean, with very comfortable beds inside, which can guarantee you a good night's sleep 🛏️. In-room amenities are all available, including an electric kettle, slippers and a hairdryer. What’s more special is that it also offers delivery, so even if you’re lazy, you can enjoy the food in your room, which is very relaxing. There are many worth trying restaurants nearby, such as the seafood at Mai Spa & Resort Restaurant, the bar atmosphere at F5 restaurant & bar is very good. There is also a quite famous coffee shop nearby iris café☕, having a cup of coffee there always feels so healing. However, this stay was not flawless. First, the pick-up at check-in was a bit disappointing, gave up after a long search at the airport, and ended up taking a taxi to the hotel. Secondly, although the hotel cleans the beach once a day, there is still a bit of garbage on the beach, which is an issue that needs to be improved. Also, the location of the hotel close to the beach made travel in the rainy season slightly tricky, however luckily we caught up with a few sunny days. Overall, Mercury Phu Quoc Island Villas Resort is a perfect place to relax and unwind. Although some minor flaws exist, it does not affect the overall good experience. If you’re planning on visiting Phu Quoc, be sure to try this resort, especially its private beach and swimming pool, you won’t be disappointed.
