With the women's free admission policy for the holiday, and tired of the blue sea and silver sand of Beihai, I wanted to experience the magnificent mountains. This is a relaxing and pleasant scenic route~ Let’s head to Beidi Mountain 🤗 🚗 Self-driving from Beihai: 3.40 hrs ⛰️ Itinerary: ☀️ Morning: Depart from Beihai at 7:00 am for a 352 km, approx. 4-hour drive. ☀️ Noon: Arrive at the parking lot of Beidi Mountain Tourist Area around 11:00 am. The parking fee is CNY 10/day. Purchase tickets to enter the park. Adult tickets are CNY 110 (including admission and round-trip shuttle bus), and tickets for students and seniors are CNY 70. For visitors with poor physical strength, you can take the cable car (CNY 50/person for a one-way trip) and enjoy the magnificent mountain scenery in 15 minutes. Visitors with good physical strength can hike up the mountain from the walkway on the left side of the scenic area gate. The whole journey takes about 3 hours, accompanied by ancient vines, old trees, and strange peaks and rocks. After reaching the top of the mountain, buy some snacks and water at the kiosk in the rest area to replenish your energy, or prepare your own picnic and enjoy the scenery while dining. ☀️ Afternoon: Go to the high-altitude boardwalk and glass walkway (CNY 30/person) to experience the thrill and take in the panoramic view of the deep valleys and mountains. Watch the high-altitude acrobatics performance (three shows from Monday to Friday at 12:00, 13:30, and 15:20; four shows on weekends or holidays at 10:00, 12:00, 13:30, and 15:20) and marvel at the performers' superb skills. If you are lucky, you may encounter a dreamlike sea of clouds after the rain. Then walk down the mountain, which takes about 1 hour. ☀️ Evening: End the fulfilling and enjoyable journey at 18:00, drive back to Beihai with good memories, and draw a successful conclusion to the trip to Beidi Mountain. ❤️ The chance of seeing a sea of clouds in the Beidi Mountain area is very high. It is a good choice to check the weather forecast in advance to watch the sunrise and the sea of clouds. In addition, it is not recommended to take the wild road when the weather is hot, as animals such as spicy sticks appear frequently❗️ ⚠️ Precautions Some sections of the mountain are steep when climbing, so be sure to pay attention to your feet and grab the handrails. Check the weather in advance. The cable car may be out of service in bad weather. The whole hike is about 6 km. Choose the way to go up and down the mountain reasonably according to your physical condition. There are two lines at the sightseeing bus queue, one to the entrance of the mountain and the other to the cable car entrance. Pay attention not to queue in the wrong line. After arriving by cable car, take the steps on the right to the boardwalk. The scenery here is the most beautiful.
