Loving the sea of green—Zhuo'er Mountain, the "Eastern Switzerland"

Qinghai is the perfect summer retreat, with the lush and verdant Qilian Mountains offering a truly healing experience. We took our children to climb Zhur Mountain, a branch of the Qilian Mountains. Despite its altitude of over 3,000 meters, the path was very manageable, and even our 5-year-old had no trouble walking. Along the way, in addition to the Swiss-like mountain scenery and grasslands, there are also some Danxia landforms. Small snack shops and souvenir stores dotted the route, allowing the children to take breaks and enjoy themselves without getting tired. At the summit, there was a beacon tower where we all took a group photo to remember the occasion. Finally, we took a water slide down the mountain, which the kids absolutely loved. It’s a very family-friendly spot, and I highly recommend it.
