Mingshan Qingyuan Tea House in Quanzhou, Fujian: If you must become a monk once, this is definitely the place.

If a person must become a monk once in his life, he must come here. Qingyuan Tea House is built on Qingyuan Mountain, a 5A-level scenic spot only 30 minutes’ drive from West Street in the center of Quanzhou City, and only 15 minutes from Quanzhou Railway Station. It is built halfway up the mountain, backed by its own tea garden, facing the tea mountain, and overlooking the city of Quanzhou. It is filled with the faint fragrance of tea and the harmonious sound of music. It is close to the world yet secluded. It is comfortable to live and eat. Most importantly, there are workshops where tea artists will take you through the whole process of experiencing tea culture! Let me start with the key points: 📍Address: Mingshan Qingyuan Tea House, Quanzhou 💰Average consumption: About 800 RMB per night in our off-season 💞Reasons for recommendation: Go to the tea mountain, stay in a tea house, taste good tea, smell the fragrance of tea, play with tea, pick tea leaves by hand, and bake tea roots, and immerse yourself in the tea culture! The Quanzhou cuisine in the restaurant is very delicious! Quiet and secluded but with a great location, the experience is 100 points! Feel at home. 🏖️Environment/Facilities: 1. Every room has a balcony with a beautiful view. 2. There are ample parking spaces. 3. Located in Qingyuan Mountain Scenic Area, the 80 RMB entrance fee is free. 4. Advanced training workshops (tea making and tea picking) are free of charge. 5. Provide services of sending passengers to the station, going up the mountain and going down the mountain. 6. The security is very good. Although it is located in the mountains, the area is gated. 7. There is 24-hour butler service, and the boss lady even supervises it personally. It was our first time here. We drove along the winding mountain road and climbed up to the quiet tea garden. The beautiful mountain and city scenery made me feel that it was worth it. (ps: For travelers who do not drive, the tea house provides free station pick-up and drop-off services, as well as up and down the mountain services. Please contact the housekeeper.) Sit in the atrium of the tea house to drink well water and swing on the swing. Although the weather is very hot, the tea mountain is particularly cool and quiet. The ubiquitous tea fragrance and guqin sounds are very soothing. Almost every room has a balcony with great views. The most surprising thing is that the room is equipped with a tea drying device, which is used to dry the roots of Tieguanyin tea, so that the whole room can be filled with the fragrance of tea, which is very calming and refreshing. The room also provides four different flavors of tea grown by the tea house. The price for takeout is not cheap but it is provided free of charge. There is a full set of tea sets. It is really elegant to watch the mountains and drink tea on the balcony! The tea art workshop was definitely a surprise. You must look at my pictures. The tea art master sister taught us how to make Song-style tea. We were reluctant to drink it! If you come during the tea picking season, the tea garden will take guests to the tea mountains to pick tea, so that you can experience the knowledge from raw leaves to tea leaves. You will really learn a lot! More importantly, the restaurant in this tea house is so delicious... There is no need to go to the city to find Quanzhou cuisine. The food is large, cheap and exquisite. You just need to make an appointment with the butler for the dining time and go to the restaurant at that time. All kinds of tea dishes, Minnan flavors, and seafood flavors that you can’t taste at the foot of the mountain are available here. There was also breakfast, which was also prepared for us by the tea artist sister. It included Hakka white porridge, vegetables grown in the tea garden, sweet potatoes, soy milk, and a very cute dim sum. The tea eggs here were the best I have ever eaten. We spent two very pleasant days here. It is very convenient to go to the city because it is very close. It is modern and secluded. The housekeeper and the proprietress are very friendly. In the afternoon, we sat at her tea table in the hall, watching fish and chatting together. The proprietress also made tea for us with great care. There is also a very cute dog! I love the feeling of arriving at a place and sitting down to chat with the locals. If you have time, be sure to take the tea house's car to the top of Qingyuan Mountain to see the Big Buddha, and it's free! The only 5A-level scenic spot in Quanzhou! The only downside to this place is that the security is too good. Takeaway can only be delivered to the gate at the foot of the mountain 😂, so you have to go down and get it yourself. But there is everything to eat in the tea house, so there is no need for takeout! ! If I have the chance, I will come back again to visit the tea artist sister and everyone here! They really treat us as family! ! ! 🥹Let’s come back and stay for a few days next time when we have time~ This is really a sincere and beautiful love~ #RegisterMayHotelTestSleeper2025 #Dragon Boat FestivalGoodDestinations #NewYearGoodDestinations2025 #Quanzhou #Fujian #HiddenFood #Tea #Immersive #Hotel #B&B #Self-DrivingTour
