Number of sightseeing spots in Rome is probably like no other city. I swear, every corner has something historical or beautiful to see. I ended up walking so much every day just to try and take it all in. It’s amazing how you can wander from one ancient ruin to a beautiful piazza to a cute café, all within a few blocks. A tip: wear comfortable shoes! You’ll be doing a lot of walking on cobblestones, and trust me, your feet will thank you. What I loved most was the city’s vibe—there’s a mix of energy and history everywhere you go. I never got tired of exploring, even though I was exhausted by the end of each day. Where you could wear short sleeves and enjoy the warm sun shining. My huge recommendation is to do Cot’dazur in November. This area is also near the Trevi Fountain, making it a popular spot for tourists. Via del Tritone is one of the main roads that cross the center of Rome and is well-known as a hub for shopping and culture. It features a variety of brand stores and upscale restaurants, with the Rinascente department store being a prime location for shopping enthusiasts. The area harmoniously blends historical architecture with modern commercial spaces, offering a unique experience of both traditional and contemporary Rome. When I visited Via del Tritone, I was amazed by its vibrant atmosphere and the variety of attractions. For a shopping lover like me, it felt like paradise. The street is lined with numerous cafes and gelato shops, perfect for taking a break. Its proximity to the Trevi Fountain also makes it convenient for planning your sightseeing itinerary. However, it can get crowded during peak hours, so it's advisable to plan your visit accordingly.

I found a hidden gem in Rome this time. To be closer to the attractions, I stayed at the Hotel De la Ville next to the Spanish Steps. This is a hotel under the luxury hotel group Rocco Forte, owned by the Forte family, which has a four-generation hotel industry background. The Forte family is very particular about the location of their hotels, which are all located in prime locations in Europe, with historic buildings and spectacular views. The Hotel De la Ville in Rome is right next to the Spanish Steps, and the building is an 18th-century old building. The overall design of the hotel has both a classical charm and a modern sense of fashion. The public area of the hotel has many sculptures and decorative paintings of various Roman cultural heritages. The room decoration is also very beautiful, and I especially like the Chinese-style bedside table in the room. There is also a bar on the 7th floor rooftop of the hotel, which has a very open view and you can see the whole city of Rome. Even if you don't stay at the hotel, I recommend you come here for a meal and enjoy the view. The breakfast at the hotel during my stay was also great. It was in a garden restaurant, quiet and private. In the morning, you can enjoy the food in a relaxed and comfortable way while bathing in the Roman sunshine. Breakfast is semi-buffet style, and you must order the local Carbonara scrambled eggs, which are made with eggs, cheese, bacon, and black pepper. Then pair it with the must-eat dessert in Rome, Maritozzo cream bun. The Maritozzo cream bun made by the hotel is very authentic. You should know that the history of this cream bun can be traced back to the ancient Roman period two thousand years ago. Romans usually eat this for breakfast, and a cup of espresso + Maritozzo is a typical Roman breakfast.

This was my first time in Rome and I highly recommend going to Sistine Chapel and the Colosseum. We started our day around 11am and managed to visit both places leisurely by 5pm. We got our tickets online but I think you can buy at the counter dependent if you are going during peak season. I went in August so it was definitely very busy. The tickets were roughly 60euros for entry to both places. Also it’s not featured in the pictures but I highly recommend you to visit near Trevi Fountain where there are many delicious and affordable sandwich shops around. #italy #rome #summer #Sistinechapel #colosseum

#traveldiaries Ticking off our 3rd 7 wonders of the world after The Great Wall of China and the Taj Mahal in India. The Colosseum is an interesting one just because we stand corrected. A lot of what we knew were actually not facts 😂 But seeing it in real life was just as surreal and awe-inspiring as when we saw The Taj and The Great Wall. Such a piece of history that truly is a testament of how grand ancient architecture is. The historical significance that it holds will always be one of the 7 Wonders of the World. I really suggest to be in a tour group as you will definitely learn a lot about the Colosseum and its historical significance. TIPS: 1. Buy tickets in advance and trip app offers a tour for the Colosseum. 2. Wear comfortable shoes 3. Apply sunblock as it is very hot there. Enjoy!

What I was satisfied with was that it was very quiet, perfect soundproofing, and free red wine and water on the table. I drank half a bottle and was dizzy. The window is really big, and the view is very good. You can see the human-shaped shuttle downstairs. The bed is also comfortable to sleep in, but I'm not used to the European elevator. The space is very small, and then it's like it's about to fall aft. Overall, I'm still satisfied. Next time I come to Rome, I'll book this one.

I remember going to the original store in Napoli a few years ago and the pizza was super delicious💗 I found out that there is also a branch in Rome , of course you have to reflect on it. Come and do like the locals and eat a big one in one person☺️ Your belly will feel so good! I ordered Margherita con Bufala, the simple taste is great👍🏼The middle of the cake is soft and thin, and the mouthful is filled with the aroma of tomatoes and buffalo cheese. The store's home-brewed beer 🍻 and fried food are also signatures, especially the famous Roman specialty Supplì, which is almost a must-order at every table. I ordered Supplì Alla Crema di Parmigiano, which is filled with semi-melted cheese and is super delicious. You can't make reservations at this store, and you usually have to queue up at night. I didn't have to wait very long at my age, about ten minutes.
