Compared to the bustling Xijiang Miao Village, Zhaoxing Dong Village exudes a quieter, more gentle charm. It is the "Edge of Time" as described by National Geographic. As if time forgot to arrive, leaving this place untouched in its original state. The Dong people, living by the water, have not yet moved away from their mountains due to the influx of tourists. The morning mist envelops the smoke rising from every household, carrying the scent of mountain grass and the sweetness of rice wine wrapped in bamboo leaves. Occasionally, a loud mountain song echoes, waking up every drowsy morning. The village is small, and half a day is enough to explore it all. At the end of the old street, take a bus up the mountain, and you can find a teahouse to casually claim the view of the entire terraced fields outside the window!
