Turn hot Asia summer into cool Winter Oceania New Zealand

2 nights stay in Rotorua. Moving south from city of Auckland, I took a roughly 4 hours ride to Rotorua via Intercity Coach. As usual I stayed at budget single room with shared bathroom at Rock Solid Backpacker Hostel for SGD62 a night. That’s cool for a hostel within central cIty. I spent 30-40 minutes walk to Te Puia Geothermal Park instead of taking a bus from the city as the weather was cool and nice. Entrance price is NZD100 and additional 2.5% if by credit card. It started with a Maori performance followed by a guided tour which is included in the fee. First stop was the indigenous art and crafts, followed by entering the Kiwi conservation centre where I get to see 2 adult and a young Kiwi in a dark enclosures. Thereafter we proceeded to the bubbling mud and pool of boiling water ( where u get to taste boiled food from the enclosure). Lastly of course the fourth larges geyser in the world in Te Puia. The main purpose of me coming to this Geothermal Park. I cannot include videos together with still pictures thus u can check it out on another post with just the video. This conclude my stay in Rotorua for which I will proceed further south to Taupo. Coming soon….. To add, Maori culture and bubble mud pool and geysers are main attractions in Rotorua Accommodation- Hostel stay at Rock Solid Backpacker Meal - Food centre at Rotorua Central Mall. I took the Chinese food at the food court. Taking the small plate and filled them to full at a cost of NZD13. Food are generally similar in Auckland and each single main meal will cost you NZD20++
