The Historical Village of Hokkaido

It takes a bit of effort to get to the village and the site itself is fairly large with around 50 buildings total. If you have an interest in history or architecture you’ll love this place. The village has several sections divided into a mountain village, a fishing village, farm village, etc. Be sure to wear easy-to-remove shoes in order to enter the buildings. Slippers are available but if you have regular shoestrings you will get tired of untying or you will skip some of the best parts. You could spend 3 hours here easily. There is a restaurant on-site and the staff is quite helpful. I want to travel to Palawan this year. #2024wish
