Luang Pu Ma Thawaro Museum

Pay respect to the body of Luang Pu Ma Thawaro, Wat Santiwiwek, Ban Non Kham, Tambon Mueang Phrai, Amphoe Selaphum, Roi Et Province. 🙏🏻 Inside the temple, there is a teakwood pavilion where the body of Luang Pu is kept. There is a pagoda. The temple area is quiet. Luang Pu Ma was given the nickname “God of the Chi River Basin” because he was a monk who practiced well and devoted himself to helping the villagers and Buddhism. He was a monk of the Vipassana meditation sect of Luang Pu Man Phurithatto. He passed away on November 2, 2009 at the age of 97 and had been a monk for 77 years.
