Sevan Monastery ⛪️

Sevan Monastery, for local people also known as Sevanavank is located on a peninsula of Sevan lake! 🌊The construction of the monastery was completed at the 9th century, consisting of two churches very similar to each other. ⛪️ The lake and the monastery are located on 2 hours-drive away distance from the capital city of Armenia, Yerevan! There are always many tourists taking pictures and admiring the panoramic view from the highest point of the peninsula to the huge lake Sevan and surrounding mountains ⛰ This place is really worth to visit!
