In 1974, the Shanghai Botanical Garden officially began preparations on the site of the former Longhua Nursery, and now it celebrates its 50th anniversary. The colorful Shanghai Botanical Garden is a witness to this special moment. To showcase the glorious and arduous journey of the Shanghai Botanical Garden over the past 50 years, to continuously inherit the spirit of ecological gardening, to preserve memories, share achievements, and look towards the future, the Shanghai Botanical Garden is holding a 50th-anniversary special exhibition at the Plant Building.
