Hermès Home "Nowhere Garden" Free Exhibition Must-See

Hermès has invited Chinese artist Mr. Zeng Jianyong to create a new thematic window display "Nowhere Garden" along with its namesake exhibition. Using paper and ink to construct a garden, it builds a spiritual landscape between reality and illusion that is both viewable and explorable, unfolding a contemporary dialogue between mountains and waters. Based in Beijing, Mr. Zeng Jianyong is one of the representative artists of new ink painting. While long studying landscape painting, he is not confined by tradition. Mr. Zeng has developed a set of spatial abstraction principles based on calligraphic aesthetics, continuously interweaving and layering scenery and mountains to form a continuous space distinct from the traditional "Three Distances" technique. He paints on the reverse side of paper, using vibrant colors to render the misty atmosphere of mountain vapors. He juxtaposes painting and sculpture, blending three-dimensional landscapes with memory, dreams, and mythology. True to its name, "Nowhere Garden" grafts the dual imagery of utopia and classical gardens, projecting the artist's mental landscape and ideal realm. The free exhibition requires reservation, and visitors can receive a beautiful transparent card with their reservation code.
