Dongtan wetland park is a place that you can’t miss if you are in the city of Shanghai. As this place is really outskirts of the city, it is important to plan ahead transportation by private car. It should take you around 2 hours from shanghai with average traffic. This wetland covers an extensive land area so you need comfortable sports shoes as you will find yourself walking a lot. You can rent bikes or electric small vehicles to get around faster, specially in summer if it is too hot and humid.
