Staying at the Four Points by Sheraton Fengjing Hotel for the weekend felt like having the perfect autumn getaway for the kids. Standing on the balcony of our lake-view room, gazing at the beautiful autumn lake, time seemed to slow down. During check-in, the kids were immediately drawn to the parent-child craft activity in the lobby. They could experience the traditional intangible cultural heritage of rubbing printing for free, and we made two sets of framed prints to take home as souvenirs (this activity is only available every Saturday, 10:00-20:00). In the afternoon, we leisurely enjoyed afternoon tea in the lobby bar, savoring a moment of tranquility. For dinner, we went to the "Zui Qing Feng" restaurant on the second floor to enjoy exquisite Cantonese cuisine. The minimalist style was very relaxing. The crispy glass-skinned pigeon was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with an irresistible aroma. The crispy nut-coated snowflake beef melted in our mouths, a favorite of the kids. The stay was anything but boring. The children's playground on the second floor was a paradise tailor-made for children, bustling and lively. The little ones played to their hearts' content and even made some lovely friends. The swimming pool boasts a first-class environment with perfectly warm water, enveloping you in a cozy, idyllic atmosphere. The gym is fully equipped with all kinds of equipment. The entire trip was filled with comfort and joy, making every moment precious. We were woken up by a hearty buffet breakfast at the "Play Beer & Food Club" restaurant on the first floor, offering a wide variety of options to start the day off right. The children's area featured hash browns, popcorn chicken, fries, and even gummy candies – a sweet treat for the kids, ensuring they were well-fed before heading to the park! The hotel thoughtfully provides a free shuttle bus to and from Legoland daily, departing at 9 am and returning at 6 pm – incredibly convenient. While in Fengjing, how could you miss visiting an ancient town in Jiangnan? The ancient town of Fengjing, near the hotel, exudes the unique charm of Jiangnan—cobblestone streets meander, ancient bridges span shimmering waters, and small boats glide by. Savor authentic Fengjing dishes like braised pork hock, bamboo shoot dumplings, Zhuangyuan cake, and smoked shredded pork… Bring your children for a fun-filled and educational autumn getaway this weekend!
