Taste this Delicious Taiwanese Dessert

"Mianmianbing,” popular Taiwanese dessert made from milky ice shavings, has made its way to Yuyuan Road in Shanghai. As you approach Roji Monster Ice Cream Shop, you’ll notice a cute, round monster staring at you with googly eyes from the window, welcoming you inside. The interior has a rather streamlined, simple design with Japanese-style woodwork. It’s a nice place to sit down and enjoy something sweet. There are two seating areas within the shop, one area with chairs and tables, and another with tatami seating on the floor. The two areas are separated by a wall of black and white paper lanterns. Keeping in line with the monster theme, the main hit at the shop is fluffy mianmianbing garnished with a pair of monster eyes. The mianmianbing is available in several flavors including black sesame, matcha, cocoa, and milk. Seasonal flavors are available as well. Each generous portion of mianmianbing comes with two toppings. While there are a ton of toppings to choose from, our favorites are brown sugar boba and honeycomb.
