Walking from the parking lot at the foot of the mountain to the white pagoda at the summit takes about an hour with stops along the way. The entire path is paved with cement, but you can also choose to walk along shaded trails or dirt paths. There are many options that are very friendly for elderly visitors and children👉If you don't want to walk up to the summit, don't worry at all - you can drive directly to the area below the white pagoda (📍navigate to Dengyun Temple, which is right below the white pagoda). Inside the scenic area, you can enjoy tea, meals, scenic views, pray for blessings... There's also a children's play area (20 yuan per person) and a zoo. The area is about three kilometers from the hotel, and taking a taxi is very convenient. By public transportation, take Bus Route 1, which takes about 20 minutes to reach the foot of Huaguoshan Mountain. I especially recommend the spicy and sour noodles sold by an old grandfather next to the long stairs - they taste great and are very affordable!
