Wowing Hangzhou Cuisine in Shenzhen- 桂滿隴船宴

Hangzhou cuisine is known for its food delicacy and beautiful presentation, and that was exactly what we found in this restaurant- Kwai Mun Lun. The restaurant is located on the 7th floor of the PCFC mall 平安國際金融中心- above the Shopping Park Station. We arrived at 11:45 am for lunch and already saw a long queue of at least 20 numbers ahead of us, but there were plenty of chairs outside while we waited. After about 30 minutes, we finally got our seats. The maitre d walked us inside and we were immediately wowed by the interior decoration. We walked passed a stone bridge, and passed by a traditional Chinese boat on the right where some customers sat inside the boat to have their lunch. Our table was next to another boat inside the restaurant with a little stream and trees between us. We ordered the house specials including braised pork belly, egg yolk soup, and shrimp. I especially liked the lotus root dessert which was placed inside a dish of coconut milk, and topped with a mini lotus leave and some lovely scented osmanthus. We loved the restaurant and would recommend it for those who want to try Hangzhou cuisine!
