"Angel's Promenade" is a mysterious sand path that appears in the sea. It appears or disappears with the tide. Starting from Bentenjima, which is adjacent to Shodoshima, there are a total of four islands connected. The Angel's Promenade is open to the public in the morning and afternoon, with the sandy path exposed twice a day at low tide. It is said that if you walk along this promenade hand in hand with your loved one, an angel will descend between you and grant your wish. It is voted as one of the most romantic places for proposing nationwide and is recognized as a "holy place for lovers." In the shop near the Angel's Promenade, you can not only buy ema (a prop used when praying in Japanese shrines and temples) on which you can write your wishes, but also sell a wide variety of popular Shodoshima souvenirs such as olive products and Japanese noodles.
