The striking protective walls surrounding Sighnaghi were built by the second king of Herac in the second half of the 18th century. It has 23 towers, each named after neighboring villages that were used to protect the town and the people in the city. Seen in the tower is the vast plain of Alasani, the end of the plain is the best scenery of the Caucasus Mountains.
