The congee is thick, smooth and gluey, very comforting especially on a rainy day. I'm not so a congee lover and actually preferred their rice roll aka chee cheong fun. I can finish 2 plates of this youtiao wrapped in rice roll! The sauce is sweet and salty yet not too overpowering, complementing the silky smooth rice roll sheets.
