Songkhla National Museum .. located on Chana Road, Mueang District, Songkhla Province .. The building is a Chinese-style architecture that is over 100 years old. It was originally the private residence of Phraya Sunthararak (Net Na Songkhla) built in 1878. .. Later, Phra Wichien Worasart (Chao Phraya Yommarat) used it as the residence of the special commissioner inspecting Songkhla and Nakhon Si Thammarat in 1894 and used as the Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Hall since 1896. .. Currently used as the Songkhla Provincial National Museum. Inside the museum, there are exhibits of art objects from prehistoric times to the Srivijaya period. It is a source of study and knowledge in archaeology, art history, ethnology, Chinese art, and local art. .. Open every Wednesday - Sunday from 09.00-16.00 hrs.
