PANTAI MERDEKA 🇲🇾

Pantai Merdeka is a beautiful beach at the river mouth of the Sungai Merbok about 30km from Sungai Petani. It is a very popular beach and is usually crowded during the weekends and public holidays. Interesting place to visit with family members or friends. They have are “night market” styles of stall selling foods, scarves, blouses, fake jerseys and clothings. There are plenty of food trucks on holiday or weekend. You can take a boat ride to Tanjung Dawai across to find a local food product. It cost only RM3 each way. Parking is not a problem here as there is a vast area to park our vehicles. Don’t hesitate to come over here.
