Hyde Park Barracks

You are given headphones and an portable audio device which connects to the museum's audio guide system, detects which exhibit you are in front of, gives you an audio narration of that exhibit and guides you around the Hyde Park Barracks site, so cool! There are a lot of awesome exhibits including Aboriginal, convict and immigrant which tell our early history and the history of the Hyde Park Barracks buildings so well. Allow yourself around 2 hours to explore everything. The staff are super friendly, helpful and best of all the museum is free to enter. I would highly recommend this museum to anyone who wants to learn our early history.
