Di magpapahuli sa ganda ang Leyte!!!

Limasawa Island of Southern Leyte Limasawa is a very beautiful Island with a beautiful and helpful people. There are markers for the first mass in the Philippines. Although, there are a lot of arguments if it really happens here. (bahala na cla mg argue bobo ako sa history guys). Most of all, this is not a crowded place, and you can actually meditate here or soul searching kumbaga emote emote lang. Actually I owned the Island for a day ung tipong ako lang talaga ang tourista sa araw na yon that's the benefit of traveling on weekdays hahaha 😂 📍LIMASAWA LAGOON RESORT ( 20 pesos entrance fee ) 📍LIMASAWA LIGHTHOUSE ( 5 pesos entrance fee ) 📍450 step climb to the First Cross ( donation only ) 📍DAKDAK BEACH RESORT ( 25 pesos entrance fee ) 📍Marine sanctuary ( pero di q na to napuntahan ) If you stay overnight there are available cottages or nipa house in the resort 700 pesos good for 2-4 person. How to get there: From Manila, tourists can reach Southern Leyte by riding a plane via Tacloban. Any local airlines (cebu pacific, philippines airlines or airasia) from Manila that have trips going to Tacloban. Next from Tacloban, take a VAN going to Maasin which is 3-5 hrs van ride this is one of the town in Southern Leyte. Or there are buses from Manila particularly in Pasay or Cubao that have direct trips to Hinunangan or Maasin. ( Philtranco bus 24 hours estimation time of travel) Maasin City is the nearest gateway to Limawasa Island. From Maasin City you have to go to the multi cab terminal going to Padre Burgos (fare is 30 pesos), the island can be reached through a 30-minutes ride to the municipality. Then from the port, I took the boat for 40 minutes to 1 hour ride. It cost only 50 pesos per person for this option but there is only two schedule for the big boat as early as 8:00 am or 11:30 am. And from Limasawa going back to Burgos with the schedule of 6:30am, only one schedule in a day. Other option is to wait for the small boat but they will offer you 100-200 pesos one way with the maximum capacity of 8-10 person (vice versa). I choose the 2nd option since I came early as 6:30 am dapat magmadali besh kc what I want is to have a day tour only. So the advantage on the 2nd option is they will take you directly to Lagoon you can save your time specially your on a day tour. The view from here is fantastic. In Lagoon water was very clear and from the top it was quite picturesque with the turquoise water down below. To get to these places, you need to be a bit fit cause the trail was steep and rocky. For the big boat they will take you directly to the port of limasawa. The main transportation around the island is the tricycle that cost 175 per person pero kahit solo ka 175 pesos parin pero ginawa ko na nang 200 pesos tip ko nalang but if you will traveling as a group maximum of 5 person naman kasya sa tricycle or through habal-habal 300-400 pesos so pg magjowa kau pwd naman dalawa. #staycation #awesomepic #summervacation #givethanks #urbanexplorer
