The rainbow-colored paths and cheerful character drawings, in particular, captivate visitors. This art project began when the village was at risk of being demolished, and Huang succeeded in protecting the village and attracting attention by painting. As a result, it has now become a popular tourist destination in Taichung, attracting many visitors. Rainbow Village is also a popular spot for photography, and every corner is Instagram-worthy! When Huang was still active, visitors had the chance to take photos with him and chat, adding a warm story to the village's charm. Access is relatively easy by bus or taxi from Taichung city, making it a perfect stop during city sightseeing. Admission is free, but supporting the village through donations or purchasing souvenirs is recommended.
