Taichung Mala Bay Water Park: A Bit Disappointing

Today, I finally visited the legendary Lihpao Mala Bay Water Park! Although it claims to be the largest water park in Taiwan, if you've been to water parks in Thailand, you might find its scale not as impressive. 😅 The most attractive feature of the park is definitely the massive wave pool in the center! Every hour, huge waves roll in, and everyone eagerly waits for the next wave, creating a super fun atmosphere. This is undoubtedly the soul of the entire park. 💦 As for the other slides and attractions, to be honest, they aren't particularly outstanding. What's even more disappointing is that several slides and inflatable attractions suitable for kids were closed for maintenance. With the already limited number of facilities, the options for play became even fewer. 🤷♀️ - Visiting on weekdays means fewer crowds and almost no waiting in line. - The changing rooms are somewhat outdated. - Hairdryer usage requires payment: NT$20 for 3 minutes. - Towels and toiletries are charged separately. - Special note: All visitors must wear swim caps! If you forget to bring one, you'll need to purchase one on-site (NT$390!). 🫠 Overall, the experience wasn't particularly outstanding. The number of facilities is limited, and some appear a bit old. It's a place to fulfill kids' wishes to visit a water park in Taiwan, but if you have high expectations, you might feel a bit disappointed. However, since you're here, make the most of the super cool wave pool! 🌊
