Floating in the Greenery of the Mountain City｜Renaissance Taipei Shihlin Hotel

Located in Shihlin, the Renaissance Hotel features a pool hidden atop a high-rise building. What captivates me the most is the infinity water view facing Yangmingshan. In the afternoon, stepping into the warm water, you are greeted by undulating mountain ranges ahead, with only the gentle breeze and the sound of water intertwining in your ears, as if entering a poetic mountain forest within the city. The pool's design is minimalist and transparent, complemented by earth-toned lounge chairs and lush greenery, creating an illusion of being "in Taipei, yet not in Taipei" when gazing at the mountain scenery. Whether it's a morning swim or an evening retreat, this place feels like a sky sanctuary where the mind can find peace. For me, it was an incredibly soothing afternoon experience.
