Taipei's Zhongshan area offers a high-value dining option for dates and birthday celebrations 🫶. This time, my friends and I visited BeApe, located just a 5-minute walk from Shuanglian Station. The ambiance inside the restaurant is cozy and relaxing, with various art installations adding a romantic touch. We opted for the Saturday lunch set priced at 1380 TWD per person (each person can choose two appetizers, a main course, a drink, and a dessert). I highly recommend ordering the set menu—it’s very filling 🙆🏼. The appetizers, including the bread and salad, were beautifully presented and perfect for Instagram-worthy photos. The main course, orange juice duck leg, was absolutely delightful—tender, juicy, and flavorful. However, the lemon tart was slightly too sweet for my taste 🥺. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. I’ve been searching for a high-value dining spot with a sense of ceremony for birthday celebrations, and I think this place is perfect for both birthdays and couples looking to celebrate special occasions.
