The black lacquer surface of the wall is also decorated with eye-catching mother-of-pearl work, and was created based on a "Pheasant" painting by #尾竹竹坡. There are four horizontal panels inlaid on the ceiling, which show, in order: the Shogun leaving Nijo Castle, paying homage to the Nikko Shrine, the feudal lords ascending Edo Castle, and finally the scene of entering Edo Castle. All of them are painted and carved panels, and are quite magnificent. The wall below the ceiling depicts the O-oku, where women are supreme. During annual celebrations, women wear gorgeous clothes inside the city, while they keep a low-key and elegant appearance outside the city. #Japanese-style banquet hall This room is decorated with "fans", including fan-shaped ladies on the ceiling and fan-shaped air vents on the Japanese-style window lattices. The wooden board on the wall depicts the Ukiyo-e work "Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido". The cypress pillars standing in the hall are the original drawings of Takesaka Otake and the Seven Lucky Gods carved by the sculptor Shengfengling. Passing through the Japanese-style entrance and banquet hall, there are three wedding banquet rooms in series, namely: Bamboo Forest, Eagle Room and Ushiwaka Room. #竹林Chikurin The work on the wall is an original painting by the writer #菊池花秋, which mainly depicts the scene of picking maple leaves and is decorated with mother-of-pearl inlay. What is more special is that the hair of the lady in the painting is decorated with horse hair, which is particularly lifelike. The pillars in the room are carved with the #Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove from the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties; the peacock paintings between the railings and the flower paintings on the ceiling are the works of the writer #YoshidaTokuya. This bamboo forest is also the scene that appeared in the Ghibli animation #Spirited Away. #EagleWashi This place is designed with the theme of the stage of the Japanese performing art #Noh. The wooden pillars on both sides are made of maple on the one side and Brazilian mahogany on the right side, which are very precious and rare; and the paintings between the railings are the paintings of #Yokoo Yoshizuki. #牛若Ushiwaka The woodcut in the front room is a scene from the famous popular novel "Tokaido Knee Kuriger" in the Edo period, depicting the daily life of scholars, farmers, merchants and artisans in the Edo period.
