Tokyo Attractions｜Visiting Chidorigafuchi: Regrets of Cherry Blossom Viewing

#Tokyo Attractions Chidorigafuchi, a moat area named after its shape which resembles the Japanese word "chidori", is located in the northwest corner of the Imperial Palace. This is a famous cherry blossom viewing spot in Tokyo. Every spring, the 700-meter-long cherry blossom avenue along the river is in full bloom, forming a beautiful picture that attracts countless tourists to come and enjoy. However, when we visited Tokyo, we encountered several cold fronts in March, which caused the cherry blossoms to bloom later than expected. When we arrived at Chidorigafuchi, the cherry trees were still in bud, so we were disappointed that we were unable to see them in full bloom. 📍Address: 1-1 Kita Maru Park, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo 🚇 Public transportation: 5 minutes walk from Exit 2 of the Kudanshita Subway Station 🕒Opening hours: The park is open 24 hours a day; the boat park is open from 10:00 to 17:00 (closed on Mondays) 🎫Tickets: Free for the park, 500 yen for a 30-minute boat ride (800 yen for 30 minutes during the cherry blossom season)
