🍝 A Warm Lunch Welcome at Miami Garden Asakusa

We arrived in Asakusa right around lunchtime and decided to grab a meal before starting our sightseeing. Just after exiting the subway, we spotted Miami Garden across the street and thought, why not try something different after nearly two weeks of Japanese cuisine? Italian it was! We were quickly ushered to our seats, and the experience only got better from there. Our server, who overheard us speaking Mandarin, cheerfully switched to Mandarin herself and mentioned she had moved from China over a decade ago. Her service was impeccable—always checking in, refilling our cups, and making sure we had everything we needed. Her hospitality really stood out. As for the food, it wasn’t fine Italian dining by any stretch, and the seasoning leaned on the salty side for our taste. But it served its purpose—comfort food with a twist, especially welcome after days of Japanese meals. The restaurant also had a smoking corner, which was a nice touch for those who needed it. Prices were reasonable and portion sizes were decent.
