Mount Fanjing

The several checkpoints and touring routes of Mount Fanjing. 1. Red Cloud Golden Summit: This is one of the iconic attractions of Mount Fanjing, with an altitude of 2336 meters. During sunrise and sunset, the red clouds swirl around, and the auspicious vapors rise, which is quite spectacular. The summit is divided into two parts, and the weather is very changeable, so seeing it also depends on luck. 2. Mushroom Stone: This is one of the landmark attractions of Mount Fanjing, standing 10 meters tall. It is a natural wonder, with a stone pillar piercing through the clouds, seemingly teetering but actually standing tall and proud, with a history of 1.4 billion years. 3. Thousand Scrolls: Located near the Mushroom Stone, the entire mountain is layered and orderly stacked, very pleasing to the eye. 4. Old Golden Summit: This is one of the attractions that correspond with the Red Cloud Golden Summit. Sometimes you can see thousands of miles of scenery unobstructed; at other times, it is shrouded in cloud waterfalls, ever-changing. It is recommended to take the forest plank road after ascending from the East Gate, then proceed to Mushroom Stone, Old Golden Summit, Buddha Worship Platform, Red Cloud Golden Summit, Cheng'en Temple, and the cable car upper station. It takes 20 minutes to reach the cable car station by sightseeing bus from the East Gate, 15 minutes by cable car, and another 30 minutes on foot to reach the Mushroom Stone.
