Inside the station facility otta in Tsuruga is a public bookstore called Chienamiki. I visited it two years ago, but I decided to visit again. The maze-like bookshelves were created based on the image of the World Tree, which looks like a branching tree when viewed from above, and there are 30,000 books lined up on the shelves. You can browse and purchase books freely, so you can take your time looking for a book that suits your taste. And there is Wi-Fi and power outlets installed in various places, so you can use it in various ways, such as taking a break or working before boarding the Shinkansen. Inside Chienamiki, there is a tea shop called Nakamichi Genzo Tea Shop attached to it.
