If anyone comes to visit Ban Rai District, don't miss visiting the Ban Sanam community, an ancient Lao Krang community that migrated and settled here. Come see the "Giant Tree" or the Giant Xiang tree that is hundreds of years old, standing tall in the middle of a lush green forest of more than a hundred trees, which beautifully surrounds the giant tree. It is a valuable wonder that the owner has taken good care of so that future generations can experience the magnificence of this tree. It is also considered an UNSEEN of Ban Rai District. From the entrance, walk through the market for about 200 meters and you will find a giant tree standing out in a wide dirt field. Amidst the lush greenery of the tall betel palm forest, the giant tree is hydrated by the way of nature. The giant tree is called the Xiang tree or the honey tree. It is 40 people wide and has a circumference of 97 meters. It is over 400 years old and grows on the land of Uncle Hiang, a forest dweller who loves big trees. When entering the area of Baan Chai Khao, you will find a long road along the way full of green cornfields. The backdrop is a view of green mountains that surround it intricately. When I first saw it, I exclaimed, "Wow, it's so beautiful and wow!" The green view is very comfortable to the eyes. There is a gentle breeze. I drove around the view twice. It was so chill. After that, I went up to take pictures on the observation deck. When I stood up there, I felt closer to the mountains. Looking around, there were mountains and orchards, cornfields, and a view of the long road. The atmosphere was like a foreign country. But I came during the day when the sun was hot, but I got a beautiful, clear sky instead. Wat Chantharam - #Wat Tha Sung #Uthai Thani Wat Chantharam is an ancient temple built in the Ayutthaya period. Locals like to call it Wat Tha Sung because in the past, this area was an important waterway and there were many log rafts. In addition, log rafts often stopped to rest in front of the temple. Therefore, this place is commonly called Wat Tha Sung. In the early Rattanakosin period, the person who renovated the temple was Luang Pho Yai. The temple began to develop and become more well-known when Phra Ratchaphromyan or Luang Pho Ruesi Ling Dam built important buildings in the temple, all of which are exquisitely beautiful. People from all directions come here to pay homage to the sacred objects for good fortune.
