The Floating City Named Venice

#passionpassport Venice is built on more than a hundred islands located in northern Italy’s Veneto region. Travelers from all around the world visit Venice every year to see its beauty. Venice in my experience captured my imagination in a way other European cities aren’t capable of. The streets are like mazes, so there was a tendency for me to get lost when I was visiting the city. The islands were connected with bridges that were built many decades ago. Because of Venice’s vibrant history, people would see architecture from the past everywhere they look in the city. Most importantly, the whole city is pedestrianized, meaning the only mode of transportation is boats, which is amazing if you are the type of person who wants to know and discover the place by foot. #venice #italy #gooutside #urbanexplorer #awesomepic
