A quick stop at a local restaurant meant indulging in a bowl of hot dry noodles (热干面), a must-try Wuhan specialty. Leaving the city behind, I traveled to Shennongjia, a breathtaking natural reserve filled with towering peaks, dense forests, and hidden valleys. Hiking through the misty landscapes, I found myself surrounded by rare wildlife, pristine waterfalls, and the untouched beauty of China’s last wild frontier. The crisp mountain air and serene scenery felt worlds away from the bustling city.
