Xi'an Huajue Lane Mosque.

A famous mosque of Islam in China, originally named Qingxiu Temple, it is named after its location in Huajue Lane, Xi'an. According to the stone tablets in the temple and the "Xi'an Prefecture Annals", the temple was mostly built during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty (1368–1398). It was rebuilt in the second year of Chenghua (1466). In the 18th year of Chenghua (1482), the temple was renamed "Chici Qingxiu Temple". Since then, it has been repaired and expanded in the first year of Jiajing (1522), the 34th year of Wanli (1606), and the 30th year of Qianlong (1765), and has become the scale it is today. The temple once had a university of scriptures, and since the Qing Dynasty, it has produced many talents in the study of scriptures. It is the center of the "Shaanxi School" of scripture education and is a national key cultural relic protection unit. The layout of the temple is a traditional Chinese courtyard style with a central axis symmetry. The main buildings are the wooden archway, the five-room building, the stone archway, the Chixiu Hall, the Shengxin Building, the Liansan Gate, the Phoenix Pavilion, the Moon Platform, and the main hall of worship.
