Banancun Village, Xingguo, Jiangxi Province

Banancun Village dates back to the late Southern Song Dynasty, when the Chen family moved here from Henan. The village is home to four ancestral halls and more than ten ancient dwellings, including the former residence of General Chen Qihan, the former site of the Red Army's First Front Army Headquarters, the former site of the Banan Military Conference, Da Fu Di, Jiang Jun Di, and the former residences of Chen Jiulin, Chen Xiu Dong, and Chen Guohua. Banancun Village is not only rich in history, but also a traditional village with a red history. It is one of the first red villages in Jiangxi and one of the second traditional villages in Jiangxi.
