Tianzi Mountain

Tianzi Mountain, originally named Qingyan Mountain, has an elevation of 1262.5 meters. It was named after an ancient Tujia ethnic leader, Xiang Dakun, who led a local peasant uprising and proclaimed himself as 'Tianzi' (Son of Heaven). The scenic trail is over 20 kilometers long, with 69 rocky bends and 84 viewing platforms along the way. Tianzi Mountain is most famous for its 'sunrise', 'sea of clouds', 'red moon', 'winter snow', 'red leaves', and 'grand peak forest', offering a spectacular view. There are more than 80 representative attractions, including Imperial Writing Peak, Fairy Scattering Flowers, Point General Platform, Shentang Bay, and He Long Park, with a touring time of 1.5 to 2 hours. The so-called 'Who can recognize the face of the Son of Heaven, upon return, one shall not bother with the mountains under heaven.' Tianzi Mountain Natural Ecological Tourism Area is a true green natural oxygen bar. Here, the forest coverage rate exceeds 90%, and the concentration of negative oxygen ions in the air reaches 20,000 per cubic centimeter, making it akin to a natural respirator! The average summer temperature is around 20 degrees Celsius, with abundant rainfall and a cool climate, as well as a rich variety of species.
