Yangma Island

Yangma Island is located 9 km north of Muping District, Yantai City, Shandong Province, with an area of 13.52 square kilometers. Yangma Island, also known as Xiangdao, is named after the legend that Qin Shi Huang once raised horses here during his eastern tour. Yangma Island is the northern barrier of Muping Port and also the fishery level area of Muping District. Yangma Island is a metamorphic rock island mainly composed of marble, and its climate shows the characteristics of a marine climate. With its beautiful mountains and seas and pleasant climate, it is known as the "Hawaii of the East" and is famous for its unique scenery of "one island and three beaches".
