The Ink and Watercolor Danxia Scenic Area is one of the must-see attractions in Lanzhou. The weather was not very good when I went there, but the scenery was still beautiful. The only downside is that it's a bit far from the city. When you arrive at the lobby, you can store your bags first, and then take a bus to the scenic area. There are small shuttle buses in the scenic area that shuttle between various attractions, which can save you a lot of effort. There is a food court similar to a service area in the middle where you can eat something to replenish your energy. The stairs to climb the mountain are quite long, but compared with Mount Huashan, it is just a drop in the bucket and not too stressful. It feels great to look down from the top of the mountain and see all the small mountains and the scenery. I highly recommend it. Although Ink Danxia is far from the city, it is definitely worth a visit. The scenery really looks like an ink painting, and the landscape paintings we are familiar with can be seen here with just a casual shot. If the weather is good, you can experience it in person, which is very spectacular. There are many small animals in the scenic area, many of which can say hello, which is very cute!
