In July, the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai area is scorching hot, making you want to carry an air conditioner everywhere. Each season reveals a different beauty of Yunhe Terraces. This time, in July, the green 🌾 rice fields make it feel like stepping into Hayao Miyazaki's fairy tale world, where every snapshot looks like a masterpiece! 🚗: 2-hour self-drive from Wenzhou Tour route: Baiyin Valley Kenggen Stone Village — take the cable car from the Visitor Center up to Jiǔqū Yúnhuán — Baiyin Valley Qīxīngdūn Family-friendly spots to check out: ➡️ Kenggen Stone Village Recommended to drive there, 🅿️ parking is convenient. It’s a very quiet village with babbling streams, old house coffee ☕️ aroma, and creative shops. Walking through the village feels like stepping back in time. The ancient stone houses are very photogenic. When tired, you can relax at the Unexpected Coffee shop, peaceful and beautiful~ ➡️ Jiǔqū Yúnhuán Encounter China’s most beautiful curves, with lush green rice waves swaying in the wind, like a green ocean. This season is especially suitable for traveling with kids, very easy on the eyes! When tired, you can rest at the Daoshengyi Café, buy some creative 🍦 ice cream, and enjoy the vast terrace views. ➡️ Baiyin Valley Qīxīngdūn 🚠 Take the cable car directly to Baiyin Valley. On the second floor is the Cloudside Café. Order a drink and sit by the window to gaze out at the layered terraces—so healing ❤️‍🩹. Kids can play on the cloud swing; everything is so beautiful. Remember to bring a jacket, as the mountain temperature is still a bit cool. Walk 150 meters up to the Qīxīngdūn viewing platform, or down to Kenggen Stone Village. But since we had kids, we chose to take the cable car both ways 🚠. 🏨 Recommended: Straw Grass Meets Building Blocks Hotel. We stayed in a family room that fits two adults and two kids. The loft-style dreamy design is a hit with the kids, and the breakfast is very abundant.
