Shuangshan Island is simply a paradise for taking photos.

Just got back from a weekend trip to Shuangshan Island and can't wait to recommend it to you all! Shuangshan Island these past two months is absolutely breathtaking, like a painting come to life! Every snapshot is a masterpiece! ✨ 🌾Natural Scenery: • Dabodun Wetland Park: The reed beds are a must-see! Vast fields of white, soft reeds are in bloom, swaying gently in the breeze. Walking on the wooden boardwalk is so atmospheric. Standing by the reeds, using them as a foreground for photos of the Yangtze River and the sky is absolutely stunning! • Metasequoia Forest: They're so red! The entire forest of metasequoia trees has turned a warm, vibrant orange-red, incredibly eye-catching. Standing in the grove, looking up at them from above, or looking down from a high vantage point, the layers of color are so soothing. • Riverbank: There are even more reeds here, and you can even see water birds! They fly among the reeds, searching for food, adding so much life to your photos. Photographing the rocks and waves along the riverbank is also very natural and beautiful. • Island Ring Road: Comfortable for cycling or walking! The scenery on both sides of the road is different, with green trees on one side and golden reeds on the other, creating a beautiful contrast. Especially at some bends, you can capture the Yangtze River and the entire island, a very expansive view. 🏡Cultural and Cultural Highlights: • Ferry Crossing Slow Street: I love this old street! Quiet and charming. Under the big trees, on the stone-paved road, with old houses and windows, it truly feels like stepping back in time. The elderly people sitting at their doorways are a perfect match for this old street, creating photos with a strong sense of everyday life. • Jianglai Xiaozhu B&B: Staying at this B&B was very comfortable. The owner was very easy to communicate with, and the location was excellent, convenient for getting around. It was great value for money. It's also affiliated with Manyu Manor Campsite on the island, where you can experience bonfires, barbecues, and picking wild vegetables. Highly recommend staying here! • Crossing the River Victory Park: This place has a strong historical feel. The park has monuments and statues, allowing you to reflect on history and remember your roots. The reeds and river water are quite beautiful; the blend of history and nature is unique. 💡Other must-see attractions: • Pearl Lighthouse: The island's landmark! Taking a picture of its large size from below is breathtaking. Going up to the top would be even better, offering a fantastic view of the entire island and the Yangtze River! • Riverbank Paintings: Many beautiful patterns are painted on the riverbank! Find a favorite background and take a photo with the sunset—the lighting is amazing! The paintings combined with the natural river scenery are uniquely characteristic of Shuangshan Island. 📣The reeds are in full bloom, the dawn redwoods are turning red, the weather is comfortable, and the lighting for photos is perfect! It's not too crowded, making for a great experience. Don't miss this seasonal beauty—you'll have to wait another year! 📸✨
