Sharing an itinerary for exploring ancient sites in Zhengding

Zhengding Ancient City is not large, making it perfect for a one-day historical excursion with its many well-preserved ancient architectural relics. I arrived at Zhengding Station by slow train the night before and stayed at the Hanting Hotel near the South Gate. I started early the next morning, walking directly onto the east city wall, reaching the South Gate in about half an hour. The night before, I also ordered takeout from Zhao's Fried Skewers, which was quite good.
