Two-Day One-Night Travel Guide to Guishan Island: Watch the Sunset and Enjoy the Sea Breeze

In summer, you must go to the island to enjoy the sea breeze and watch the sunset 🧊 🏨 Liyuan•Zhongguishan Island Resort Hotel: The room rates are slightly expensive during the Qixi Festival and weekends. I am quite satisfied with this hotel. It is considered one of the cleaner ones on the island. There are many inns on the island. You can choose to stay halfway up the mountain for a quieter experience. You need to climb, but you can call a sightseeing car 💰5 per person. You can also stay at the foot of the mountain (recommended: Holiday Inn Express, more convenient). 🎫 Ferry Ticket: Xiangzhou Port 100/person one-way, with many time options. Drive to Xiangzhou Port and take a 50-minute ferry to Guishan Island. Additionally, you can take a ferry from Humen to Guishan Island, which takes about 2 hours and is more expensive. Remember to book round-trip ferry tickets in advance as they are easily sold out! Guishan Island is very hot and sunny in summer. It is recommended to go out at 4 or 5 PM. We arrived at the hotel around 3 PM and started our tour around 4 PM. 📷 Itinerary: Hotel - Aimin Road (slope photo) - Halfway Stone Building - Internet-famous Zebra Crossing - Guixiaobai - Have a snack - Sightseeing car to Dolphin Bay (great for photos) - Sightseeing car to No. 1 Beach (there is illy coffee here) - Walk to the West Coast Viewing Platform - Guishan Ship Memorial Park - Walk back to the West Coast Viewing Platform to watch the sunset, super beautiful - Dinner 🍽️ I won't recommend any food because they all seem similar! Actually, one day is enough to explore. The island is relatively small. You can watch the sunset, stroll around, and take the last ferry back to Zhuhai city to stay, which is more cost-effective! If you want to watch the sunrise the next day, remember to check the weather forecast. We couldn't get up, so we didn't go! Haha 🏝️ Island Transportation: Recommended sightseeing car 💰5/person per ride. No need to rent a bicycle, which is quite expensive! If you walk slowly, you can visit all the attractions on the island! 🌄 The weather wasn't particularly good, so the sunset wasn't very beautiful. But sitting by the sea, watching the sunset and the evening glow, and playing a favorite song is really chill!
