[Must-visit this summer] Experience the light-up event at Enoshima ✨
The beaches of Enoshima are starting to get crowded with people swimming in the sea, but we would like to introduce some light-up events that will be held in Enoshima that you should visit even after swimming in the sea!
This time, we will introduce "Enoshima Lanterns 2024" which started on July 20th.
1,000 lanterns are lit up on Enoshima Island, and Enoshima Shrine is showing beautiful projection mapping effects✨
You can enjoy videos and lanterns inspired by the legend of Enoshima "The Heavenly Maiden and the Five-Headed Dragon"💡
The photos we are introducing this time are "Enoshima Shrine (free)" and "Enoshima Samuel Cocking Garden (paid)".
In addition, lanterns will be placed in Escar 1 (paid), Oiwayamichi Street (free), Enoshima Iwaya (paid), Kamegaoka Square (free), and other places, so you can enjoy the event without spending any money🤩
※Enoshima Samuel Le Cocking Garden
Opening hours: 9:00-20:30 (last entry 20:00)
Open until 21:00 on weekends and holidays
Price: 500 yen/250 yen after 17:00
※Enoshima Cave
Opening hours: 9:00-18:00
Price: 500 yen/200 yen
[Advice for going out]
① Wear a yukata or jinbei 👘
You can get an original tenugui hand towel only if you enter Enoshima Samuel Cocking Garden after 17:00 ✨
There are only a limited number of them, so if you want one, it's best to go early 😄
② Look at Enoshima Shrine and walk around from the right route 🚶
Go from the right side past the big red torii gate, not the one with the escalator!
That's because Enoshima Cave is closer if you go from that direction, but you can only enter it until 18:00!
There are lanterns, so if you aim to arrive at around 17:45, you can enjoy the lanterns of the cave!
③Limited-time jellyfish exhibition at Enoshima Aquarium 🪼
For four months from 7/12 to 11/4, Enoshima Aquarium will have more jellyfish exhibits than usual! ️
Until 8/31, wind chimes and umbrellas inspired by jellyfish will be on display, so be sure to check them out!
--------
That's all!
What do you think?
This summer, be sure to visit this event on a hot day or after a swim in the sea!
