#celebratewithtrip Before I get to here I have not even heard of Sand Boarding so this is totally new to me . So what is Sand Boarding ? As the name suggest instead of the usual surf boarding over here is sand boarding 😅 Located about 90mins drive from Perth I have arrive at Lancelin it is a Premier sand boarding destination as for the sand board you can simply rent one over here which will cost you AUD 12.50 . Entry to the dunes is free and there is no entry gate it is open every day of the year as long as there is sunlight remember it sand boarding so be prepare with all the sand all through your cloth , you will need glass to prevent the sand being blown into your eyes ( it very windy) and also take note you have to climb to the top to be able to slide down . lastly they is not shower room or washroom 😂 so prepare well before heading down

Everything was delish. The perfect cherry on top was grabbing a serving or two of red or white wine & enjoying the beautiful sunset with the cool air (they provide blankets too if you get cold) Once the sun has set, they provided telescope for you to watch the planets & stars 😍✨

Famous Cable Beach is indeed beautiful but that's not the only beautiful beach in Broome. At the opposite site of Cable beach, there's this beach where local people visit a lot called Town Beach. During the daytime, I personally liked this Town Beach more than Cable Beach since it was more quite and clean. Enjoying beer with the fresh air at town beach was really satisfying and I would definitely visit back here when I go to Broome again🥰 Oh if you're visiting here, don't forget to get some fish & chips with a bottle of beer on the way. Cable Beach Australia is well known for its camel ride with the sunset on its background. But did you know that it's also beautiful on the way there driving? Look at the third picture that I posted! I went there on a daytime and spent a noon picnic on the beachside, and when it finally came to time for sunset, it was absolutely STUNNING💕 People were riding camel during the sunset and I was sitting there watching this beautiful scene and I felt so blessed🥰 You definitely need to check it out if you're visiting Western Australia! #givethanks #australia #givethanks

But!! The jetty was so long that workers were exhausted from walking every day 😵‍💫 So the mini train was introduced! It started as the workers' "sea commuter train." After the commercial port closed, the mini train was converted into today's sightseeing train 🚂✨ still running the same route as back then. - /🪼 Tips/ ✔ Book tickets in advance on the official website, the mini train often sells out ✔ The viewing tower requires selecting a time slot, be sure to reserve ahead ✔ The jetty is windy! Their website highlighted a fusion of Seafood × Asian × Australian styles. I came with high expectations, but the experience… well, the taste and ambiance didn't quite meet my expectations. [Sourdough] 💰17 The sourdough came with three kinds of flavored butter, but neither the bread nor the butter was particularly memorable. [Oysters] They had both hot and cold oysters, with a good variety of flavors. However, the ones we chose were rather ordinary, none of them particularly outstanding or sweet, which was a bit of a shame. [Warm Seafood Platter] 💰249 The platter includes: miso-grilled lobster, half a dozen oysters (choose your own flavor), clams with white wine and cherry tomatoes, steamed sea bream with soy sauce and ginger, spicy honey crawfish, garlic butter shrimp, two pieces of fried fish, and a puff pastry soup. I chose Perth, the capital of Western Australia and one of the loneliest cities in the world. Compared to the northern route I shared before, where temperatures often reach 35°C this season, I opted for the more comfortable southern route for a “short but sweet” two-day trip! Friday 19:05-22:05 Shanghai🛫Hong Kong (Cathay Pacific) Friday 23:10-6:55+1 Hong Kong🛫Perth (Cathay Pacific) For this trip, I chose Cathay Pacific’s most cost-effective mileage sweet spot: the Shanghai-Hong Kong-Perth two-segment ticket covers 4600 miles, close to the boundary between medium and long haul, and I got two segments of business class lie-flat seats for just 58,000 miles! Saturday 10:00 Mandurah Picked up the car and drove south to the town of Mandurah, a famous dolphin-watching destination. I joined a $45, 75-minute dolphin-watching tour that doesn’t go out to sea, but you can also watch wild dolphins for free from the Dolphin Quay Footbridge. Besides dolphins, the town’s scenery is quite nice, with Christmas decorations everywhere on the streets. Also, you can check out six giant sculptures made from recycled wood by Danish artists around the town. I stopped by two this time: Yaburgurt in the forest by Peel Inlet and Santi sitting on the seaside jetty. Getting out of the car and strolling around was really relaxing. Saturday 15:00 Busselton Jetty Rode the eye-catching red little train to tour the 1.8 km long jetty. At the end of the jetty is a viewing platform and an underwater observatory. Since I’m not very interested in the periscope, I only bought an $18 one-hour round-trip train ticket. Saturday 17:15 Bunbury This week is the Ironman event, and hotels near Busselton were fully booked. So I had to drive back and stay at a hotel in Bunbury. Just in time to catch a beautiful sunset on the beach in front of the hotel! Sunday 11:30 Mammoth Cave Left the hotel at 9:30 am. Among the many caves in the Margaret River region, I chose the highly recommended Mammoth Cave. The ticket costs $25. Inside the cave, you can see spectacular stalactites and ancient reptile fossils scattered on the cave walls. Afterwards, I wandered through the forest, enjoying the beautiful scenery and fresh air! Sunday 13:15 Hamelin Bay The farthest destination of this trip, Hamelin Bay, where you can see stingrays, is 310 km from Perth. Besides the white sandy beach and clear water, you can also see rays. Australia drives on the right side, which is still a bit challenging for Chinese drivers. There are indeed many animal carcasses on Western Australian roads. Sunday 17:30 Return to Perth Airport Monday 18:30-22:15 Perth🛫Bali (AirAsia) Monday 0:55-7:10 Bali🛫Pudong (China Eastern) Taking the familiar flights back to Shanghai again.
