Sortavala | A Snow Country Train Through Time and Space
On June 1, 2019, Russia resumed operation of the retro Nikolaev-style steam train from Sortavala to Ruskeala Mountain Park, bringing a new travel experience to this heritage national park on the Russian-Finnish border.
① Ruskeala is famous for its marble, which was used in the Winter Palace, St. Isaac's Cathedral, Kazan Cathedral, and several beautiful metro stations in St. Petersburg.
