Wild Atlantic Way, 2-Day Secret Exploration
Traveling alone doesn't mean being lonely. Our guide is super reliable 👍.
We tailored a beautiful itinerary for a young lady who wanted to experience both culture and scenery, and made real-time adjustments based on the weather.
In Dublin, we suggested attractions, recommended hotels, and advised her to explore the city on foot to save on travel expenses. Plus, there's no need to worry too much about safety in Ireland.
On the first day 📅, we set off from Dublin straight to the Cliffs of Moher.
On the way, we passed by Kilmallock Abbey and Lough Bunny. After visiting the Cliffs of Moher, we went to the Burren National Park. The young lady is a sports enthusiast, but unfortunately, she didn't bring her hiking gear today. Still, she eagerly walked for quite a while. We were lucky to see many rare plants and even found a herd of goats 🐐.
In the evening, we arrived in Galway and checked in. We recommended a local restaurant and a route for a leisurely stroll. The young lady tasted the best Murphys ice cream in Ireland and was very happy. She also experienced the unique charm of the pub street and Galway Bay.
On the second day 📅, after visiting Galway Cathedral, we headed straight to the Wild Atlantic Way.
Driving along the coastal route for 40 minutes, we checked in at Dunguaire Castle. We continued along the scenic route, which was so beautiful it felt like being in a painting. We then arrived at Kilkee Cliffs, where the scenery was stunning, no less impressive than the Cliffs of Moher. The spectacular sea views had many unique details, and there were very few tourists, making it an undiscovered gem on the Wild Atlantic Way 🏝️.
At noon, we arrived in Ennis for lunch. We recommended a famous local healthy food restaurant, which was much cheaper than in Dublin but tasted excellent. The young lady said it was definitely a must-visit restaurant and the most nutritionally balanced meal she had in days. By the way, the lamb chops in Ennis are also delicious, haha.
After lunch, we strolled around Ennis, visiting various specialty shops and experiencing the unique Irish charm of this beautiful small town.
In the afternoon, we returned to Dublin city center along the central pasture scenic route, leaving plenty of time for the young lady to explore areas she hadn't yet discovered. The trip ended perfectly 🌹.
