Rinka Falls is a natural masterpiece. The sheer drop of water against the rugged cliffs looked like a silk ribbon unraveling from the sky. I hiked up a little further to catch a different perspective and was rewarded with panoramic views of Logar Valley framed by alpine peaks. It’s rare to find a place that combines raw beauty with such peaceful surroundings. Sitting on a rock, sketching the waterfall in my journal, I felt completely connected to the moment. Rinka is not just a waterfall—it’s an experience. #mytraveldiary

Logar Valley Landscape Park

The Logar Valley is one of the most beautiful alpine valleys I’ve ever visited. Surrounded by steep peaks, the valley felt like a natural amphitheater of green meadows, forests, and waterfalls. I biked along the main road, stopping often to admire the jaw-dropping views. The Rinka Waterfall at the valley’s end was especially impressive, cascading down the cliffs. Logar Valley has this untouched, serene atmosphere where time seems to slow down. It’s a paradise for hikers, photographers, and dreamers alike. Truly, a highlight of Slovenia. #mytraveldiary

Hike in Logar Valley in autumn and experience a paradise on earth.
Depart from the capital of Slovenia and head southwest for about 1.5 hours. After passing through two valleys, you will arrive at the third and most beautiful and famous hiking resort, Logar Valley, and the nature park.
⛰️The scenery along the way to Logar Valley is stunning. The flat and neat countryside and the mountain villages outside the car window are surrounded by high and low mountains. Driving in the field is like swimming in a pastoral painting, which is breathtakingly beautiful.
🏔️As soon as you get off the car, you will see a winding single-lane road. On both sides are grasslands and a group of cows happily eating grass. In front of you is the famous Alps. The snow is high and tall, and the feeling of being refreshed is naturally born. You can take a walk along the road, or you can hike up. There are many hiking routes to different mountain tops🏔️.
❤️Tips:
1. You need to pay a car fee of 7 euros to Logar Valley because it is a nature park.
2. There are a lot of tourists from April to October every year, and the charges are also during this period, and there are also vehicle restrictions. If there are too many cars, you cannot drive in, but you can walk or ride a bicycle in. So be sure to go early!
